At LUCE, sustainability is not a separate initiative, but part of our foundation. From our pledge to be carbon negative, to the materials we source and the collections we create, we’re committed to making conscious choices that honor both beauty and responsibility.
Materials Matter
We use recycled and responsibly sourced gold wherever possible. Gold is endlessly reusable, making it one of the most sustainable materials in fine jewelry. Our sterling silver is sourced with the same care — selected for both its beauty and its renewability.
We offer natural diamonds sourced through trusted partners who follow ethical practices. We also provide lab-grown diamonds as a low-impact alternative, offering the same brilliance with a lighter footprint.
From our boxes down to the handles on our shopping bags, every detail is designed with sustainability in mind. We’ve replaced the classic decadent velvet packaging associated with fine jewelry and swapped it with a more responsible, modern style.
PROUDLY CARBON NEGATIVE
At LUCE, we believe true luxury should be as responsible as it is desirable. That’s why we carefully track and measure the carbon footprint of our store, shipping, and supply chain. To go beyond neutral, we purchase verified carbon credits to offset 100% of our emissions—plus an additional 10%—making us proudly carbon negative.
We partner with Anew, a trusted carbon market and decarbonization specialist with more than 20 years of experience providing AAA-rated carbon credits. Through Anew, we support both nature-based and engineered carbon removal projects, ensuring our impact is not only offset but positively contributes to a more sustainable future.
